Proshop Otsuka – New Service: Check Our Real FedEx Shipping Records

One of the most common questions we receive from international customers is:
“How much is shipping, and how many days will it take to arrive?”
The truth is, there is no simple answer. Shipping fees and delivery times vary widely depending on country, box size, and season. Until now, it has been difficult for us to give precise estimates on a case-by-case basis.
To solve this, we created a new service where you can check our actual FedEx shipping records from the past year. By searching by destination country, you can see the real data: shipped date, delivered date, transit days, box size, and shipping fee. This is not a simulation or estimate—it’s based on real shipments from our store.
How to interpret the data
Box size and rods
If you see FedEx Tube or a box length over 100cm, that shipment contained a fishing rod. This will give you an idea of rod shipping fees compared to smaller tackle items.
Shipped vs. Delivered
Please note: in the records, “Shipped” means the day FedEx actually picked up the parcel from our shop.
After you place an order, we will send you the tracking number, but there may be a short delay before FedEx collects the package. FedEx has many non-business days—every Saturday and Sunday, as well as all Japanese national holidays—so pickup can be delayed during these times.
We mention this in several places on our site, but we want to emphasize it again: the gap between “tracking number issued” and “FedEx pickup” is normal, and the shipping records show the pickup date as “Shipped.”
Why this matters
Instead of wondering or waiting for a reply from us, you can now explore the data yourself and get a realistic idea of shipping costs and transit times to your country.
We hope this new service will make international ordering easier and more transparent for all anglers worldwide.
